SOUND FAMILIAR?

A CRM investment should
earn its place in the working day.

01

The spreadsheet is still the place where the real work happens.

02

Follow-up depends on who remembers, rather than an agreed process.

03

Reports take too long to build — and people question the numbers.

04

The system is implemented. Everyday adoption is another matter.

HOW I HELP

The right starting point
for your CRM.

Sometimes the answer is a better workflow. Sometimes it is a different system. First, we establish what your business and its people actually need.

A PRACTICAL WAY OF WORKING

Less guesswork.
Clearer decisions.

You work with me or a 360spotz consultant. I oversee the approach and quality of every assignment. Specialist partners join when platform configuration, migration or integration expertise is needed.

01

Understand

Agree the business goal, hear from the people doing the work and examine the current practice.

02

Design

Define useful requirements or workflow changes, with priorities and responsibilities everyone understands.

03

Improve

Test a manageable change or evaluate a shortlist. Ask vendors for evidence, rather than relying on a feature list.

04

Measure

Review adoption and outcomes against the starting point. Keep what works, adjust what does not.

EXPERIENCE, PUT TO WORK

Technology changes.
The importance of people doesn’t.

My experience in CRM and contact management goes back to 1988. I worked alongside Mike Muhney and Pat Sullivan, helped bring ACT! to market and founded the SalesLogix CRM suite, later known as Infor CRM. I then developed VIPOrbit, with 350,000 seats sold. Today I am bringing Contatta! to market. I use that experience to make technology fit your organisation’s everyday work and relationships.

Mike Muhney and Pat Sullivan are often called the “godfathers of CRM”: with ACT!, they helped establish contact management software and the CRM category that followed.

360spotz is my own consultancy practice. Clients work with me or another 360spotz consultant, from the first conversation through assessment, selection and improvement. When another consultant delivers an assignment, I always retain oversight of the approach and the quality of the work and outcomes.

Contatta! complements the CRM your organisation already uses. It supports everyday contact and relationship management without replacing the existing CRM. Its fit with each organisation’s current ways of working is assessed individually. 360spotz is also involved in bringing Contatta! to market.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

First, a conversation.
Then, a focused approach.

Contact Bas. In an initial conversation, we discuss your situation and walk through the parts relevant to your business together. You then receive a proposal with a clear assignment, timetable and price.

01

Select a CRM

  1. Define the need — turn goals, users, workflows, budget and planning into weighted requirements.
  2. Compare solutions — vendors answer focused questions and demonstrate your real scenarios. Your team’s evaluations are considered together.
  3. Support the decision — investigate the top three for fit, total cost, implementation and support. You make the purchasing decision.

Outcome: an evidence-based shortlist and a clear decision document.

02

Make your CRM work better

  1. Listen and investigate — use questionnaires, conversations and workflow reviews to identify friction in spreadsheets, follow-up, reporting or adoption.
  2. Design improvements — agree priorities, responsibilities and practical changes with your team. Use AI reporting and dashboards where approved information supports them.
  3. Test and measure — trial focused changes, guide users and track progress against the starting point.

Outcome: a practical improvement plan with owners, priorities and measures.

03

Implement Contatta!

  1. Establish fit — investigate gaps in everyday contact management and whether Contatta! usefully complements your CRM.
  2. Prepare the setup — define users, contacts, working agreements and privacy. Check the feasibility of migration and connections first, involving specialists where needed.
  3. Start small and guide users — run a pilot with real users, teach the workflow and then expand in stages with agreed reviews and aftercare.

Outcome: a phased introduction that fits everyday relationship management.

BEFORE WE START

A few practical questions.

Do we need a new CRM?

Not necessarily. An assessment can reveal whether the issue is the system, the workflow, the data, ownership or adoption. We start with the business problem.

Can you help us choose a system?

Yes. We define applicable requirements, agree importance, gather evaluator input and compare vendor evidence, costs and after-sales support. Your organisation retains the purchasing decision.

How is an engagement scoped?

We start with a conversation about your organisation, priorities and current situation. You receive a proposal with the scope, deliverables, effort and price before work starts.

Do you also deliver configuration and migration?

I lead the business assessment and advisory work. Specialist partners provide platform configuration, migration and integration skills where the engagement requires them.

A USEFUL FIRST CONVERSATION

What should your CRM
be doing better?

Tell me what you use today, what is getting in the way and what you want to achieve. We’ll establish a sensible next step.
